Orbit Fab Expands Advisory Board with Industry Luminaries Chris DeMay, Chris Stott, and Lee Rosen

Lafayette, CO – May 6, 2025 — Orbit Fab, the pioneer of on‑orbit refueling infrastructure, today announced the addition of three distinguished space‑industry leaders—Chris DeMay, Chris Stott, and Lee Rosen—to its Advisory Board. Their collective expertise in the intelligence community, mission operations, venture building, and spectrum management will further propel Orbit Fab toward its vision of establishing a ubiquitous propellant supply chain in space.

Unmatched Experience Joining Orbit Fab

Chris DeMay is the Chief Operating Officer and Founder of TrustPoint, which is developing a commercial alternative to GPS.  Chris was previously Founder/COO/CTO of HawkEye 360, the first commercial company to detect and map a wide range of signals using satellites, and the 2019 SpaceNews Startup of the Year. Previously, he served in the U.S. Government, leading $500m of satellite technology development programs.

“Orbit Fab’s on-orbit refueling capability will unlock an entirely new class of space missions by extending spacecraft life and agility,” said Chris DeMay. “I’m eager to lend my NewSpace and USG experience to accelerate that future.”

Chris Stott is a serial entrepreneur who currently serves as Founder, Chair, and CEO of Lonestar Data Holdings and Founder & Non‑Executive Chair of ManSat, the world’s largest commercial provider of satellite spectrum. ManSat has licensed more satellite spectrum in GEO than any other organization in the world. He previously held senior business‑development roles at Lockheed Martin Space Operations and Boeing’s Delta Launch Vehicle program.

“From spectrum licensing to lunar data centers, sustainable access to fuel is the common denominator,” added Chris Stott. “Orbit Fab’s propellant depots are foundational to the next wave of industrial growth in space, and I’m thrilled to support that expansion.”

Col Lee Rosen, US Air Force (Ret.) served for 23 years in the Air Force as a space operator, acquisition officer and engineer. He spent more than a decade at SpaceX as Vice President of Mission and Launch Operations with over 200 launches, where he led the construction of multiple Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launch pads and oversaw mission management for civil, commercial, and national‑security customers. He is now Co-Founder & CEO of ThinkOrbital, developing x-ray-based space domain awareness solutions and in-space infrastructure.

Lee Rosen noted, “Having built and flown several missions over the course of 35+ years in this business, I know firsthand how launch delays and in‑orbit constraints can limit customer value. On‑demand refueling changes that calculus entirely—shortening design cycles, enabling maneuver without regret, and multiplying mission opportunities.”

Daniel Faber, Chief Executive Officer of Orbit Fab, welcomed the new advisors: “Chris DeMay, Chris Stott, and Lee Rosen each bring a unique, battle‑tested commercial and national security perspective—from RF‑mapping constellations and space‑commerce policy to large‑scale launch operations. Their guidance will be instrumental as we scale adoption of our RAFTITM fueling ports and depot network to serve commercial and government customers around the globe.”
